The communities of Lafayette, Moraga, Orinda and Walnut Creek are within the Acalanes Union High School District's attendance area.
Mount Diablo School District
The Mount Diablo Unified School District includes parts of Walnut Creek, plus portions of several other cities and unincorporated areas.
San Ramon Valley schools
The San Ramon Valley Unified School District (SRVUSD) covers Alamo, Blackhawk, Danville, Diablo and San Ramon, as well as small portions of the cities of Walnut Creek and Pleasanton. The district has 35 schools serving more than 28,000 students.
